Goodwin
Tom
Goodwin has grown up in Hamilton and attended township
public schools, graduating from Hamilton High West. He
holds an Associate Degree from Mercer County Community
College, and has received the Charter Life Underwriter
and Charter Financial Consultant designations from the
American College. Tom is a Registered Investment Advisor
and Financial Consultant, serving as Senior Vice President,
Investments, for EGE Advisors,
Ltd located in King of Prussia, PA. He started his insurance
sole proprietorship in 1978, and founded Goodwin Insurance
& Financial Services, Inc. in 1985.
He
has had considerable community involvement, currently
serving on the Board of the Hamilton Area YMCA as Treasurer,
and is a current member of the Hamilton Hibernians. He
also served as the former Chairman of the Board of Directors
for the Hamilton Area YMCA, as a Past President of the
Hamilton Township Jaycees, former member and former Chairperson
of the Hamilton Township Economic Development Commission,
and former Co-Chair of the Mayor’s Business Retention
Task Force. Other past involvements included serving on
the Foundation Board and Finance Committee for the Robert
Wood Johnson Hospital Hamilton, and as a Board Member
of Hamilton P.A.L., Hamilton Parks and Recreation, Mercer
County Geriatric Board, Nottingham Little League, and
as a member of the Hamilton Rotary Club. In addition,
he coached youth basketball and baseball teams for over
15 years at the Hamilton YMCA, Hamilton P.A.L., Hamilton
Little Lads, and Nottingham Little League. He currently
coaches a 16 and under AAU baseball team.
He
feels honored to have received numerous community awards,
including the 1995 Hamilton Area YMCA Person of the Year,
the First Hamilton Jaycee Citizen of the Year Award in
1994 as well as the JCI Senator designation, and was chosen
as the 1976 Hamilton Jaycee of the Year.
Tom and his wife Diane are very proud of their two sons,
Ryan and Kyle.
Dave Kenny
Dave
Kenny is a lifelong resident of Hamilton Township. He
attended Hamilton's public schools, graduating from Steinert
High School in 1972. After graduating from Lafayette College,
he received his law degree from Villanova University.
He is a partner in the law firm of Hartsough, Kenny &
Chase. He served as municipal attorney for Hopewell Township
for eight years and Washington Township for 12 years.
He has coach soccer in the Hamilton Township Recreation
Girls Soccer League and basketball at Our Lady of Sorrows.
He resides in Mercerville with his wife Susan and his
three daughters, two of whom have graduated from Nottingham
High School, with the youngest, Laura, in her junior year
there. His daughter Sharon attends the Hartt School at
the University of Hartford, and Kristin is a freshman
at Lafayette College.
Dennis
Pone
Dennis Pone was born and raised in Hamilton Square. From
kindergarten through sixth grade he attended Sayen Elementary
School. He played baseball in the H.T.R.B.A. Tiny league
and later in Nottingham Little League. Dennis was a member
of the 1970 Nottingham All-Star District 12 runner-ups.
Dennis attended Reynolds Junior High School from 7th through
9th grade and played soccer, basketball, and baseball,
as well as performing in the play "Anything Goes"
while there. He also played rec and Junior Cup soccer
in Hamilton, as well as P.A.L. basketball and in The Hamilton
Babe Ruth baseball league.
Dennis graduated from The Hun School of Princeton in 1976.
While there, he played soccer, baseball, and captained
the J.V. basketball team. He also served as class treasurer
for the junior class.
In 1980 Dennis graduated from LaSalle College in Philadelphia
with a B.A. degree. While there he played Division I soccer
and received the student activities award for significant
and spontaneous contributions to the college program of
extra-curricular activities. He went on to complete the
Ophthalmic Science program at Camden County Community
College on the President's list with a 4.0 average. He
was licensed by the State of New Jersey for practice as
an Ophthalmic Dispenser in 1983. Along with his brother
Dave, he owns and operates A.J. Pone Opticians in Hamilton
and Princeton.
Dennis is a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, has been
a soccer coach and sponsor in H.T.R.S.A. as well as a baseball
coach and sponsor in the H.T.R.B.A. He was also an adult
leader for both the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Dennis has received two Meritorious Service awards from
the Hun School of Princeton, and currently sits on the
Executive Alumni Board of the school. He is married to
Donna for 20 years and has two children, Justin, 17 and
Alyssa, 13.
